TASC: Each Day is a New Day

Teen Action and Support Center: Each Day is a New Day

There have been so many changes in our routines, in our community, and in our world over the last few weeks. One thing that hasn’t changed is TASC’s commitment to supporting teens in our community. We have had to consider new ways to engage with teens and our community partners but we are still on mission!

Our RESTORE program is providing counseling services as needed for teens and their families and we are grateful for counselors who are available during this health crisis. With all the changes teens and families are facing, we know it is critical to provide emotional health services.

TEEN THRIVE and FIRST STEPS programs will continue to provide care for young parents and their babies,  students with housing instability, and those who are in need of physical resources. We know there is a growing concern about the economy and we will continue to offer support to our teenagers and their families.

Our INSERVICE program leaders are finding new and creative ways to provide service opportunities for teens. The “normal” activities at the Station will look a little different but they will still engage and empower teens to take action in their lives and in the community. Possible art classes online and virtual hikes coming your way!

As things continue to change we want to be available for our teen students. You can contact us at 479-636-8272 or on social media @tascnwa

Next week we will reach out with some ideas for parents and teens about how to navigate these changing times in positive ways.

“In this together" is not just something we say, it's something we do. We believe there are lots of things we can do to lift one another up and work together for good! #inthistogether #letskeepgrowing #ourteensrock
